About Gemma Dunleavy


Gemma Dunleavy is an Irish singer, songwriter and producer from Dublin whose music draws on electronic pop, R&B and UK garage. Her 2020 debut EP, Up De Flats, celebrates the community where she grew up and includes the title track, “Stop the Lights” and “Cruisin’.”

In 2019, she presented Up De Flats as a multidisciplinary live stage work before releasing its songs, beginning with a run at Dublin Fringe Festival.
