About Genix
British DJ and producer Damion Houchen records as Genix, making progressive trance and harder, techno-leaning club music. A longtime Anjunabeats artist, he is known for releases including “For Those We Lost,” the mix compilation Anjunabeats Worldwide 09 and his debut album, 199X.
In 2019, Genix performed at Kala Patthar in Nepal, where Guinness World Records recognized his performance as the highest-altitude DJ set on land. Two years later, he played Above & Beyond’s Group Therapy 450 celebration at The Drumsheds in London.
