GIMS in Oberhausen

GIMS is a French rapper and singer born Gandhi Djuna in Kinshasa in 1986, first known as a member of the Paris collective Sexion d’Assaut. His 2013 solo debut, Subliminal, produced “J’me tire” and “Bella”; later releases brought songs including “Sapés comme jamais” and “La même.” The Warano Tour supported Mon cœur avait raison and brought GIMS to arenas including Paris’s AccorHotels Arena. He followed it with the Fuego Tour, built around Ceinture noire, and headlined the Stade de France in 2019.
