Gordo is a Guatemalan-American DJ and producer born in Guatemala City in 1991. He first became known as Carnage through festival trap and electro house tracks including “Bricks” with Migos and “I Like Tuh” featuring ILoveMakonnen. After adopting the Gordo name, he turned toward house music, released the album Diamante and co-produced several tracks on Drake’s Honestly, Nevermind. As Carnage, he performed at Ultra Music Festival and Electric Daisy Carnival in Las Vegas. He introduced Gordo in 2021 and developed the TARAKA party series, staging editions in Amsterdam and Tulum before bringing the project to festival audiences at Tomorrowland.
Francis Mercier is a Haitian-American DJ and producer who makes Afro house and melodic house. The founder of Deep Root Records, he is known for tracks including “Premier Gaou” with Magic System, “Sete” with BLOND:ISH and Amadou & Mariam, and “Kamili” with Nitefreak and Idd Aziz. Francis Mercier performed in Coachella’s Yuma tent and has also appeared at Tomorrowland. His club work has included dates during Black Coffee’s residency at Hï Ibiza.
