Halil Sezai is a Turkish singer-songwriter and actor born in Eskişehir in 1979. He is best known for starring in the film İncir Reçeli and for the song “İsyan.” His debut album Seni Beklerken established his melancholy pop songwriting, shaped by rock, blues and arabesk. Halil Sezai has played full-band club concerts at Jolly Joker Istanbul, drawing his sets from “İsyan” and his album material. He has also taken that repertoire into the larger Bostancı Gösteri Merkezi.
