Heartworms is the British post-punk project of South London musician Jojo Orme. Taut guitars, electronic rhythms and gothic imagery shape releases including the EP A Comforting Notion and the debut album Glutton for Punishment, which features “Jacked” and “Warplane.” Heartworms performed at Glastonbury Festival in 2023, then supported St. Vincent on European dates of the All Born Screaming Tour in 2024. Headline shows for the debut album followed in 2025, including a London performance at Electric Brixton. The Heartworms show uses a live band and tightly controlled, military-influenced visuals. Precise, martial choreography is a recurring part of Jojo Orme’s stage presentation.
Walt Disco are a Scottish band formed in Glasgow in 2016, playing theatrical art rock and post-punk shaped by new wave. Their debut album, Unlearning, introduced songs including “Weightless” and “How Cool Are You?”, while The Warping expanded their catalogue. Walt Disco supported OMD on the Souvenir tour before mounting headline dates around Unlearning. Their festival history has also taken them beyond Glasgow to SXSW in Austin and Glastonbury Festival.
