Hed P.E. is an American rap-rock band formed in Huntington Beach, California, in 1994. Their music draws on rap metal, punk and reggae, and they are known for the albums Broke and Blackout, as well as the songs “Bartender” and “Blackout.” In 2000, the band performed on the Tattoo the Earth tour, which also featured Slayer, Slipknot, Sepultura and Sevendust. The following year brought an appearance on Ozzfest, placing their rap-heavy metal sound within another major touring festival.
Cold is an American rock band from the Jacksonville and Neptune Beach area of Florida, playing alternative metal and post-grunge. Scooter Ward, Sam McCandless, Jeremy Marshall and Matt Loughran formed the group as Grundig in 1986, and it adopted the name Cold in 1996. Fred Durst connected the band with producer Ross Robinson and Flip Records before its self-titled 1998 debut. The albums 13 Ways to Bleed on Stage and Year of the Spider, including the song “Stupid Girl,” established its best-known work. Cold toured with Limp Bizkit and Soulfly during its initial run. In 2009, the band reunited and began a new tour under the Cold name.
