Holly Humberstone in Newcastle upon Tyne

Holly Humberstone is an English singer-songwriter from Grantham, Lincolnshire, who makes intimate alternative pop shaped by guitars, keyboards and electronic production. She introduced her songwriting on the EPs Falling Asleep at the Wheel and The Walls Are Way Too Thin, followed by her debut album Paint My Bedroom Black. Her best-known songs include “Falling Asleep at the Wheel,” “Scarlett” and “The Walls Are Way Too Thin.” Humberstone performed on the BBC Introducing stage at Glastonbury Festival in 2019, then opened for Lewis Capaldi on his European tour. She later supported Olivia Rodrigo on the Sour Tour and mounted her own The Walls Are Way Too Thin Tour. The Paint My Bedroom Black Tour took her headline set into larger theatres, including London’s Eventim Apollo.
