About HYO
HYO is the solo stage name of South Korean singer, dancer and DJ Kim Hyo-yeon, a member of Girls’ Generation. She began releasing electronic dance music under the name in 2018 with “Sober”; her solo catalog also includes “Punk Right Now,” “Dessert” and the EP Deep.
On the 2023 Cherry Blossom North American DJ tour, she played club dates in New York and Toronto. She has also taken her DJ sets to Korean dance festivals including World DJ Festival and S2O Korea.
