About IRENE
IRENE is a South Korean singer, rapper and actress, born Bae Joo-hyun in 1991. She debuted as the leader of Red Velvet in 2014, then formed the duo Red Velvet – Irene & Seulgi, whose 2020 mini-album Monster produced the title track of the same name. Her first solo mini-album, Like a Flower, followed in 2024.
She toured with Red Velvet on Red Room beginning in 2017, followed by Redmare and La Rouge. The group opened its R to V tour at KSPO Dome in Seoul in 2023, and the itinerary later reached OVO Arena Wembley in London.
