Jay Chou in Kuala Lumpur

Jay Chou is a Taiwanese singer-songwriter, composer and producer, born in 1979. His Mandarin pop draws on contemporary R&B, hip-hop, rock and Chinese musical traditions. The self-titled album Jay began his recording career in 2000, followed by works including Fantasy and Yeh Hui-mei and songs such as “East Wind Breaks,” “Nocturne” and “Blue and White Porcelain.” The One Concert brought him to Taipei Municipal Stadium in 2002. He followed it with the Incomparable Concert tour, which included performances at Hong Kong Coliseum. The Carnival World Tour opened in Shanghai in 2019 and later reached Singapore’s National Stadium.
