Jlin in Hamburg

Jlin is an American electronic producer and composer from Gary, Indiana, whose percussion-led music grew out of footwork. She is known for the albums Dark Energy and Black Origami, as well as Autobiography, created for Wayne McGregor’s dance work of the same name. Jlin has performed at Unsound in Kraków and Sónar in Barcelona. Third Coast Percussion commissioned and performed Perspective, her seven-movement work for percussion ensemble.
