Joey Bada$$ in Los Angeles

Joey Bada$$ is an American rapper born in Brooklyn in 1995 and a member of the Pro Era collective. His 2012 mixtape 1999 established his jazz-sampling, boom-bap sound through tracks including “Survival Tactics,” while the albums B4.Da.$$ and All-Amerikkkan Bada$$ produced songs such as “Paper Trail$,” “Devastated” and “Land of the Free.” The World Domination Tour took him through North America and Europe in 2015, supported by Mick Jenkins and Denzel Curry. In 2019, he toured with fellow Beast Coast groups Flatbush Zombies and The Underachievers on the Escape from New York Tour. He marked the tenth anniversary of his debut mixtape and supported the album 2000 on the 1999-2000 Tour in 2022.
