John Eddie is a Virginia-born American rock singer-songwriter closely associated with the New Jersey club scene. His music draws on straight-ahead rock, roots rock and country, and his best-known releases include the 1986 album John Eddie, the song “Jungle Boy” and the later album Who the Hell Is John Eddie? In the 1980s, he built a live following through performances at The Stone Pony in Asbury Park and other New Jersey clubs. That club work led to larger opening dates on the road with Bob Seger and The Kinks.
