John Oates in Airway Heights

John Oates is an American singer, songwriter and guitarist, born in New York in 1948 and raised near Philadelphia. He formed Hall & Oates with Daryl Hall and became known for pop-rock and soul songs including “She’s Gone,” “Sara Smile,” “Maneater” and “Out of Touch.” His solo records include Phunk Shui, Mississippi Mile and Arkansas. Hall & Oates performed at Live Aid at Philadelphia’s JFK Stadium in 1985, joined during their set by David Ruffin and Eddie Kendricks. Decades later, the duo returned to large North American venues on a 2017 tour with Tears for Fears and a 2018 co-headlining tour with Train.
