About Juan Luis Guerra 4.40
Juan Luis Guerra 4.40 is a Dominican merengue and bachata group formed in 1984 and led by singer, songwriter and producer Juan Luis Guerra. The group became widely known through albums including Ojalá Que Llueva Café and Bachata Rosa, and songs such as “La Bilirrubina,” “Burbujas de Amor” and “Bachata Rosa.”
The A Son de Guerra Tour followed the 2010 album of the same name and took the group through the Americas and Europe. In 2015, Juan Luis Guerra 4.40 launched the Todo Tiene Su Hora Tour around the album of that title.
The group has returned repeatedly to Santo Domingo for major hometown concerts and has also played arena dates in Madrid and Miami.
