Jumaane Smith is an American jazz trumpeter and singer best known for his long-running work as lead trumpeter and a featured vocalist in Michael Bublé’s band. His own recordings include the album I Only Have Eyes for You, which draws on jazz standards and the tradition of singer-trumpeters. Smith joined Bublé’s touring band in 2005 and performed in arenas around the world on the Crazy Love Tour and the To Be Loved Tour. He also toured as a featured guest with singer Jackie Evancho, bringing his trumpet and vocals into a concert setting beyond his work with Bublé. His own concerts feature Smith singing and playing trumpet with a jazz band. The program Louis! Louis! Louis! is built around music associated with Louis Armstrong, Louis Prima and Louis Jordan.
