Käärijä is the stage name of Finnish rapper and singer Jere Pöyhönen, born in 1993. His music is pop rap driven by electronic beats and heavy guitar. He is best known for “Cha Cha Cha,” Finland’s entry at the Eurovision Song Contest 2023, which finished second after winning the public vote; his albums include Fantastista and People’s Champion. In May 2023, he performed Finland’s entry at Liverpool Arena. Later that year, his first European headline run, the It’s Crazy It’s Party Tour, took him into club venues outside Finland. He returned for another series of European headline dates on Euro Tour 2024.
