Kandis is a Danish pop and dance-band group formed in 1989 and led by singer Johnny Hansen. Its melodic dansktop repertoire includes “En lille ring af guld” and “Lonnie fra Berlin,” while a long-running series of numbered Kandis albums forms the core of its catalogue. In 2019, the group marked its 30th anniversary with a concert at Jyske Bank Boxen in Herning. The arena show used its established full-band format, led by Johnny Hansen and drawing on the Kandis songbook.
