Kem in Prior Lake

Kem is an American R&B and soul singer, songwriter and producer who was born in Nashville and raised in Detroit. His Motown debut, Kemistry, introduced “Love Calls,” while Album II included “I Can’t Stop Loving You.” His later songs include “Why Would You Stay” and “Nobody.” In 2011, the Intimacy Tour paired him with Ledisi and Musiq Soulchild. He followed it with the Promise to Love Tour featuring Tamar Braxton in 2015, then toured with Babyface on 2022’s Full Circle Tour, hosted by Sherri Shepherd. His festival appearances included the Essence Music Festival in New Orleans. He has also performed at Capital Jazz Fest at Merriweather Post Pavilion in Columbia, Maryland.
