About King Gnu
King Gnu is a Japanese quartet from Tokyo that plays alternative rock and pop shaped by jazz, funk and electronic music. The band grew out of Daiki Tsuneta’s project Srv.Vinci and adopted the King Gnu name in 2017. Its best-known songs include “Hakujitsu,” “Ichizu,” “Sakayume” and “SPECIALZ,” while Ceremony and THE GREATEST UNKNOWN are among its major albums.
In 2022, King Gnu played its first two concerts at Tokyo Dome. The band followed them in 2024 with King Gnu Dome Tour THE GREATEST UNKNOWN, whose itinerary included Kyocera Dome Osaka and Sapporo Dome. King Gnu Asia Tour THE GREATEST UNKNOWN then opened at Taipei Music Center and concluded at Olympic Hall in Seoul.
