Ko Shibasaki in Hiroshima

Ko Shibasaki is a Japanese singer and actor, born in Tokyo in 1981. She began releasing music in 2002 and became widely known as RUI through “Tsuki no Shizuku,” recorded for the film Yomigaeri. Her solo catalogue includes “Katachi Aru Mono,” while her work with Masaharu Fukuyama as KOH+ produced “KISS Shite” and “Saiai” for the Galileo screen franchise. Ko Shibasaki Live Tour 2015 “Kou Utau” took her repertoire through concert halls around Japan. She later celebrated two decades of recording with the 2023 ACTOR'S THE BEST ~Melodies of Screens~ tour, whose programme revisited songs associated with her film and television work.
