KOAN Sound are a British electronic duo formed in Bristol in 2008 by Will Weeks and Jim Bastow. They make bass music rooted in dubstep, glitch hop and drum and bass, and are known for the Funk Blaster EP and the albums Polychrome and Led by Ancient Light. In 2011, KOAN Sound joined Skrillex’s Mothership Tour in North America. They returned the following year for the Canadian Full Flex Express train tour, which also featured Diplo, Grimes and Pretty Lights. They later headlined North American dates under the Polychrome Tour name.
