Kurt Travis in Henderson

Kurt Travis is an American singer, songwriter and guitarist associated with Sacramento’s post-hardcore scene. He is known for his tenures as the clean vocalist of Dance Gavin Dance and A Lot Like Birds, and as the lead singer of Royal Coda. His recorded work includes the albums Happiness, Conversation Piece and No Place, as well as the solo releases Everything Is Beautiful and There’s a Place I Want to Take You. The 10 Year Anniversary Tour brought Kurt Travis back to Dance Gavin Dance’s stage in 2015, where he performed material from his period in the band alongside fellow former vocalist Jonny Craig. In 2022, he toured as part of Royal Coda when the group joined Dance Gavin Dance and Body Thief on the An Evening with Friends Tour.
