Los Invasores De Nuevo León in Piedras Negras

Los Invasores de Nuevo León are a Mexican norteño group formed in Monterrey in 1977. Accordion, bajo sexto, bass and drums underpin corridos, rancheras and romantic songs; “Laurita Garza,” “Mi Casa Nueva” and “Aguanta Corazón” are among the recordings most closely associated with the group. Singer Lalo Mora helped establish its early sound, and accordionist Javier Ríos was another key figure in the original lineup. Los Invasores de Nuevo León have spent decades playing palenques, dance halls and arenas in Mexico and the United States. Arena Monterrey has hosted the band in its home state, while its concert routes north of the border have included Houston.
