Loudblast are a French death and thrash metal band formed in Lille in 1985 by vocalist and guitarist Stéphane Buriez. They became known through albums including Sensorial Treatment, Disincarnate and Sublime Dementia, key releases from the early French death-metal scene. The 1995 concert album The Time Keeper documented Loudblast’s first decade as a live band. After re-forming in 2002, they resumed touring and returned to festival stages; their appearances have included Hellfest and Motocultor Festival.
