Lukas Resetarits in Bad Hall

Lukas Resetarits is an Austrian Kabarett performer and actor, born in Stinatz, Burgenland, in 1947. He is known for playing Major Adolf Kottan in the satirical television crime series Kottan ermittelt from 1980 to 1983, and released the LP Ein Abend mit Lukas Resetarits in 1979. His honours include the Deutscher Kleinkunstpreis, the Deutscher Kabarettpreis and the main prize of the Österreichischer Kabarettpreis. He joined the cabaret group KEIF in 1975, then appeared in the Schmetterlinge production Proletenpassion at the Wiener Festwochen in 1976. His solo stage career began the following year when Rechts Mitte Links premiered at Vienna’s Konzerthauskeller.
