Manticora is a Danish progressive power-metal band formed in 1996. The group is known for fast, technical metal and concept-driven records including Hyperion, 8 Deadly Sins, To Kill to Live to Kill and To Live to Kill to Live. Manticora performed at ProgPower USA in Atlanta before taking its music across North America on tour with Jon Oliva’s Pain. Those appearances established a live history extending well beyond the band’s Danish base, including a named run with Jon Oliva’s Pain.
