Mark Chesnutt is an American country singer, born in Beaumont, Texas, in 1963. His traditional country and honky-tonk catalog includes the albums Too Cold at Home and Almost Goodbye, as well as songs such as “Brother Jukebox,” “It Sure Is Monday,” “I’ll Think of Something” and “Gonna Get a Life.” Mark Chesnutt built his early live repertoire in local honky-tonks, including Cutters, before his major-label recordings led to wider touring. He later documented his concert repertoire on Live at Billy Bob’s Texas, recorded at the Fort Worth venue. His concert history also includes appearances at the Grand Ole Opry in Nashville.
Pam Tillis is an American country singer-songwriter, born in 1957 and raised in Nashville. The daughter of country singer Mel Tillis, she became known through 1990s recordings including “Maybe It Was Memphis,” “Shake the Sugar Tree” and “Mi Vida Loca (My Crazy Life),” as well as the albums Put Yourself in My Place and Sweetheart’s Dance. Pam Tillis became a member of the Grand Ole Opry in 2000 and has performed on its Nashville stage across subsequent decades. She later teamed with Lorrie Morgan for Grits and Glamour, a touring show featuring both singers’ solo hits and duets.
