Mark Watson in Lyme Regis

Mark Watson is a British stand-up comedian, writer and presenter, born in Bristol in 1980. He is known for tightly constructed, often anxious observational comedy, the television quiz We Need Answers and appearances on Taskmaster, as well as novels including Eleven and Contacts. At the 2004 Edinburgh Festival Fringe, Watson staged a 24-hour comedy show, establishing the marathon format as a distinctive part of his live work. He later toured solo stand-up shows through theatres across Britain and took his comedy to the Melbourne International Comedy Festival.
