Matthias Egersdörfer is a German cabaret performer, comedian and actor, born in Nuremberg in 1969. He is known for solo programmes including Der Alleinunterhalter and Falten und Kleben, which received the Hamburger Comedy Pokal and Passauer Scharfrichterbeil in 2007. His television work includes Die Anstalt and the Franconian Tatort films, where he played forensic investigator Michael Schatz. Matthias Egersdörfer worked in ensembles and improvisational theatre before presenting Der Alleinunterhalter, his first solo programme, in 2004. He has also performed with the comedy-music group Fast zu Fürth and collaborated with the Franconian folk band Gankino Circus. He performs frequently in Munich and Bonn and also takes his cabaret programmes to Stuttgart.
