About Michaël Brun
Michaël Brun is a Haitian DJ and producer, born in Port-au-Prince in 1992, whose electronic music draws on Haitian and wider Caribbean rhythms. His work includes the album Lokal and “Positivo,” a collaboration with J Balvin.
In 2016, Michaël Brun created BAYO as a free event in Jacmel, bringing DJs, singers and musicians together around Haitian music and dance culture. He later took the event to audiences in New York and Montreal.
