Miljoonasade in Rauma

Miljoonasade is a Finnish suomirock band from Jyväskylä that performs in Finnish. Its original lineup came together in 1985 and adopted the Miljoonasade name in 1986; the debut album, Pesuhuoneesta keittiöön, followed in 1987. The band is known for “Marraskuu,” “Lapsuuden sankarille,” “Olkinainen” and “Lelukaupan häät.” “Marraskuu” received the Emma award for song of the year, and the group was named newcomer of the year. Miljoonasade performed in Leningrad, Tartu and Tallinn, and played the Rock Summer festival in 1989. Its concert history also includes dates in Canada and the fundraising Miljoonasademetsä tour.
