About Nicolas Jaar
Nicolas Jaar is a Chilean-American producer and composer, born in 1990, whose music encompasses minimal house, downtempo electronics and experimental composition. He is known for the albums Space Is Only Noise and Sirens, his Against All Logic recordings, and Darkside, his duo with Dave Harrington.
In 2012, Jaar presented From Scratch at MoMA PS1, a five-hour performance created with a group of musicians and other artists. He and Dave Harrington later toured as Darkside behind Psychic; their final performance before the duo's hiatus took place at Brooklyn Masonic Temple in 2014.
