Norman Brown in Lancaster

Norman Brown is an American guitarist and singer born in Kansas City, Missouri, who plays smooth and contemporary jazz shaped by R&B and soul. He is known for albums including After the Storm, Better Days Ahead and Just Chillin’, which received the Grammy Award for Best Pop Instrumental Album. Brown toured as part of BWB after the trio released Groovin’, performing with saxophonist Kirk Whalum and trumpeter Rick Braun. BWB later returned for Human Nature, an album devoted to songs associated with Michael Jackson, while Brown also maintained his own band dates and joined the Dave Koz & Friends Christmas Tour. Brown has returned to Capital Jazz Fest in Maryland, while his Florida appearances have included the Seabreeze Jazz Festival.
