Orelsan is the stage name of Aurélien Cotentin, a French rapper, songwriter and filmmaker born in Alençon in 1982 and raised around Caen. His albums include Perdu d'avance, Le chant des sirènes, La fête est finie and Civilisation; “Basique,” “Tout va bien” and “La quête” are among his best-known songs. He also records with Gringe as Casseurs Flowters. In 2018, Orelsan brought La fête est finie to the AccorHotels Arena. The Civilisation Tour followed in 2022, taking his full-band rap show through arenas and to Paris La Défense Arena. His festival appearances have included Hellfest in Clisson and Les Vieilles Charrues in Carhaix.
