About Pato Fu
Pato Fu is a Brazilian alternative-rock band formed in Belo Horizonte in 1992 around vocalist Fernanda Takai and guitarist and songwriter John Ulhoa. Its catalogue moves between guitar pop and experimental rock, and includes the albums Televisão de Cachorro and Isopor, as well as songs such as “Sobre o Tempo,” “Canção pra Você Viver Mais” and “Made in Japan.”
In 2001, Pato Fu performed at Rock in Rio, and the group later documented its concert repertoire on MTV ao Vivo: Pato Fu. The Música de Brinquedo tour brought another format to the stage, using toy and miniature instruments to perform the cover versions heard on the album; that production was also preserved as Música de Brinquedo Ao Vivo.
