Artist
Peter Hook and The Light are a British post-punk and new wave band formed in 2010 by bassist and singer Peter Hook, co-founder of Joy Division and New Order. The group performs material from both bands, including “Love Will Tear Us Apart,” “Transmission” and “Blue Monday,” and is particularly known for presenting their albums in full. On 18 May 2010, the band played its first concert at FAC 251 in Manchester, performing Unknown Pleasures in its entirety. They followed that programme with Closer, then built later tours around complete performances of Movement, Power, Corruption & Lies, Low-Life and Brotherhood, eventually reaching the Substance compilations by Joy Division and New Order.
