Peter Jezewski is a Swedish singer and bassist, best known as a founding member and longtime frontman of the rock-and-roll group The Boppers. Formed in 1977, the band drew on 1950s rock and doo-wop; his recordings with the group include “Kissing in the Moonlight,” “Jeannie’s Coming Back” and “Back to the Hop.” After leaving The Boppers in the 1990s, he fronted Peter and the Chiefs and later returned to perform with his former group. He has also toured Swedish theatres with the rock-and-roll revue Be Bop A Luba, whose repertoire centers on songs associated with the 1950s and 1960s.
