About Pigeons Playing Ping Pong
Pigeons Playing Ping Pong is an American jam band formed at the University of Maryland in 2009 and later based in Baltimore. The group plays psychedelic funk-rock and is known for songs including “Horizon,” “Melting Lights” and “F.U.,” as well as the albums Psychology, Pizazz and Presto.
The band founded Domefest in 2010, building the festival around its own extended sets and performances by fellow jam acts. The event became a recurring gathering, and Pigeons Playing Ping Pong later appeared at Bonnaroo in 2018 before headlining Red Rocks Amphitheatre in 2019.
