Piotr Rubik in Gorzów Wielkopolski

Piotr Rubik is a Polish composer, conductor and pianist, born in Warsaw in 1968. He is known for orchestral pop and classical-crossover works built around choirs, vocal soloists and sacred texts. His best-known works include the Tryptyk Świętokrzyski oratorio cycle, created with lyricist Zbigniew Książek, and the songs “Niech mówią, że to nie jest miłość” and “Psalm dla Ciebie.” Świętokrzyska Golgota premiered in Kielce in 2004, followed there by Tu Es Petrus in 2005 and Psałterz Wrześniowy in 2006. His concert productions place him at the piano or conductor’s podium alongside an orchestra, choir and vocal soloists, a format also used for Oratorium dla Świata: Habitat.
