About Pretty Boy Floyd
Pretty Boy Floyd is an American glam-metal band formed in Hollywood in 1987. The group is best known for its debut album, Leather Boyz with Electric Toyz, and the songs “Rock and Roll (Is Gonna Set the Night on Fire)” and “I Wanna Be with You.”
In the late 1980s, Pretty Boy Floyd played the Sunset Strip club circuit. After the original group dissolved, singer Steve Summers revived the name for later club dates and festival performances, including Rocklahoma in Pryor and the M3 Rock Festival at Merriweather Post Pavilion.
