Raphael in Buenos Aires

Raphael is a Spanish singer and actor, born in Linares in 1943, whose repertoire centers on dramatic pop and canción melódica. He represented Spain at the Eurovision Song Contest with “Yo soy aquel” and “Hablemos del amor”; “Mi gran noche,” “Digan lo que digan” and “Como yo te amo” are also central songs in his catalogue. Raphael performed at the Olympia in Paris in 1967 and subsequently toured extensively in Spanish-speaking countries. Decades later, RESinphónico presented orchestral versions of his songs, while the 6.0 tour marked six decades onstage and opened with a 2020 concert at Madrid’s WiZink Center. The Victoria tour followed with material written and produced by Pablo López. His recurring festival appearances include several visits to Chile’s Viña del Mar International Song Festival, and he has also performed at Starlite in Marbella.
