Rata Blanca in San Luis Potosí City

Rata Blanca is an Argentine heavy metal band formed in Buenos Aires in 1985 by guitarist Walter Giardino. The band plays melodic metal shaped by Giardino’s neoclassical guitar work and is known for the album Magos, espadas y rosas, as well as songs including “Mujer amante” and “La leyenda del hada y el mago.” In 1991, Rata Blanca headlined Estadio José Amalfitani. The following year, the band performed at Teatro Coliseo with the Orquesta de Cámara Solistas Bach, and those concerts were later documented on the live album En vivo en Buenos Aires. Outside Argentina, Rata Blanca has repeatedly performed in Santiago and Bogotá, while its Mexican itineraries have included Monterrey and Mexico City.
