About Reckless Kelly
Reckless Kelly is an American country-rock band formed in Bend, Oregon, by brothers Willy and Cody Braun before establishing itself in Texas. Its roots-rock sound is represented by albums including Under the Table and Above the Sun, Wicked Twisted Road and Bulletproof, and by songs such as “Nobody’s Girl,” “Seven Nights in Eire” and “Wicked Twisted Road.”
After settling in Austin, the band built an audience through a residency at Lucy’s Retired Surfers Bar. Reckless Kelly later created the Celebrity Softball Jam, which paired a concert with a charity softball game at Dell Diamond. The group’s live work also took the Braun brothers back to Idaho for the family-run Braun Brothers Reunion in Challis.
