Rema is a Nigerian singer and rapper from Benin City, born Divine Ikubor in 2000. His afropop and melodic rap first drew wide attention through “Dumebi,” while his debut album Rave & Roses produced “Calm Down” and its remix featuring Selena Gomez. In 2022, Rema began touring behind his debut album, performing in theatres and at festivals. He moved into arena headline shows and played London’s O2 Arena in November 2023. At the 2023 NBA All-Star Game in Salt Lake City, he performed in the halftime show with Burna Boy and Tems.
