Rhett Miller in Amagansett

Rhett Miller is an American singer-songwriter and the frontman of the Dallas alt-country band Old 97’s, which he co-founded in 1993. He has also built a parallel solo catalogue that includes The Instigator and The Believer; his best-known songs include the solo track “Come Around” and Old 97’s staples “Timebomb” and “Question.” In 2002, he opened concerts for Tori Amos while establishing his solo work on the road. His headline performances commonly feature voice and acoustic guitar, drawing on both his own records and the Old 97’s songbook. He also presents the annual Holiday Extravaganza, a guest-filled seasonal show associated with The Kessler Theater in Dallas.
