Rich Brian is an Indonesian rapper, singer and producer born in Jakarta in 1999. He became known under the name Rich Chigga through the 2016 single “Dat $tick,” then adopted his present stage name before releasing the albums Amen and The Sailor. His music is rooted in hip-hop and trap, while later work also draws on melodic pop-rap.

Rich Brian performed at Rolling Loud in Miami in 2017 and later that year launched the Come to My Party Tour across North America and Europe. He appeared at 88rising’s inaugural Head in the Clouds festival in Los Angeles in 2018, followed by The Sailor Tour in 2019. In 2022, he took part in the Head in the Clouds Forever set at Coachella.
