Roxette is a Swedish pop-rock act formed in 1986 by Per Gessle and Marie Fredriksson. The duo became known for melodic, guitar-led pop and songs including “The Look,” “Listen to Your Heart,” “It Must Have Been Love” and “Joyride,” alongside the albums Look Sharp! and Joyride. The Join the Joyride! tour took the duo to arenas across Europe, Australia and the Americas in the early 1990s, followed by the Crash! Boom! Bang! World Tour. Roxette returned to the stage for Night of the Proms in 2009 and then mounted the Charm School World Tour; the last concerts featuring Fredriksson formed part of XXX – The 30th Anniversary Tour, which ended in 2016. Roxette in Concert presents Gessle with a full band and Lena Philipsson singing the vocal parts originally associated with Fredriksson.
