Royal Coda is an American post-hardcore band formed in Sacramento in 2017 by vocalist Kurt Travis, guitarist Sergio Medina and drummer Joseph Arrington. Their intricate guitar lines and shifting rhythms shape the albums Royal Coda, Compassion and To Only a Few at First. Royal Coda performed at the inaugural Swanfest in 2019, then joined Dance Gavin Dance for the 2022 An Evening with Friends tour. That run brought songs from Compassion and To Only a Few at First to theatre stages across North America alongside Body Thief.
